The Student Council is hosting a HI-5 Recycling drive on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023. You can help by bringing HI-5 aluminum cans and plastic bottles. All proceeds from the drive will be used to purchase our staff and student appreciation gifts (e.g. appreciation gifts on Student Appreciation Day).
Please do not park in the parking stalls. Parking stalls are reserved for the faculty only. If you are dropping off HI5 recyclables & your children, you may either:
- Enter the left lane of the entrance and take the second left turn. Children will be escorted from the drop off point across the crosswalk.
- OR you may drop off recyclables & your children from the right lane in front of the office.
Please let our helpers know (they will wear orange vests) and they will help remove your recyclables from your car.
Please don’t forget to:
- Write the student’s name, grade, room no., and total number of items on each bag (the class with the most bottles/cans will receive a Jamba Juice party at the end of the year)
- Remove the bottle caps from the plastic bottles. Plastic bottles are required to have the labels still on them
- Rinse out the cans and bottles
- Separate the plastic bottles from the aluminum cans
All cans and bottles must be received by 7:55 a.m. to count towards class total.
