Dear Parents/Guardians,
Friendly reminder our Summer Learning Hub program is starting this week Wednesday, June 19, 2024! This year SLES received a grant from the Hawaii Food Bank as part of the Summer Food Services Programs to provide a FREE LUNCH for our students and siblings 18 years and younger. Lunches are prepackaged meal kits that must be consumed on campus. Participation is optional and students will have the right to pass.
What: SLES Summer Learning Hub
When: June 19 - July 10, 2024, No school on 7/4 - Fourth of July
Where: Salt Lake Elementary School
Time: 8:00-11:30 a.m.
Attire: SLES uniforms
Special Terms: Please note the special terms and program requirements.
- I understand that there is no transportation and I will be responsible for timely drop off and pick up of my child.
- I understand that my child is expected to be present for the entire duration of the program.

Drop off & Pick up Procedures:
- All parents and guardians must remain at the front of the school during pickup and drop off times.
- There is no morning supervision, DO NOT drop off children before 7:30 a.m.
- Students MUST enter campus through the poles on the mall.
- Students who are enrolled in the Salt Lake District Park Summer Fun Program will be escorted to the District Park by an SLES Staff Member. Parents should have notified Mrs. Sumajit or the school office.
If your child is no longer able to attend the Summer Learning Hub Program, please call the school office (808) 305-1600 or email Mrs. Sumajit, [email protected] to free up the space for another student.
