Grade 6 is hosting a McTeacher's Night on Thursday, November 21st from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Salt Lake Shopping Center McDonalds on 848 Ala Lilikoi Street. A portion of ALL SALES will be donated to Salt Lake Elementary to help with the cost of the 6th Grade Promotion Celebration. Stop by today to support our 6th Graders!

Thursday, November 21st is our Monthly Papa John's Fundraiser Day! To participate, order from any Papa John's island wide and turn in the receipt the next day to your child's teacher or the school office. The class with the highest sales will win a pizza party courtesy of Papa Johns! Congratulations and a high frenzy to our September AND October winner, Mrs. Teshima's Grade 4 class!

Join us on December 10th to learn more about our student achievement data, how the school will address academic learning and instruction and a parent/student STEM activity! Families who sign up by November 15th will receive a free dinner.

Save the date for our Diamond Bakery Cookie Fundraiser Pick up on Saturday, October 26th from 8:00-11:00 am in the Salt Lake Elementary Cafeteria. Families will need the confirmation form to pick up the cookies. Confirmation Forms were distributed on Wednesday 10/23. Thank you for supporting our Fall Fundraiser!

Our Annual Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in October. Parent Teacher Conferences for students in Grades K-5 will be on October 23th - November 1st.
Students in Grade 6 will be having Student Led Conferences from October 28th - October 30th. Note that during Parent-Teacher conferences, school ends at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for all students. Wednesday release time will remain at 1:15 p.m.

Kenneth's Photography and Salt Lake Elementary School are hosting their annual Holiday Photo Fundraiser on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 8:00-3:30 pm in our school library. Proceeds from this community event will benefit SLES Programs and student intiatives.

Kenneth’s Photography will be on campus for Fall Portraits on Wednesday October 2-3, 2024. Grades 3-6 will be taking pictures on Wednesday October 2nd and Grades K-2 on October 3rd. SLES uniforms are not required for picture taking. Attire must comply with the student dress code in the Student and Parent Handbook pg. 37-38. READ FULL STORY for more information!

SLES has partnered with Diamond Bakery for our Fall Fundraiser. Students and staff members will be selling Cotton Candy, Cookies and Creme or Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies. Cookies are $10 per bag. $5 from each bag sold goes back to SLES!
Money raised will be used to pay for school programs that support your child’s school experience, student planners & supplementing the cost of Field Trips for EVERY Salt Lake Elementary School (SLES) student. Please know that EVERYONE'S participation makes a huge difference!
