Aloha SLES Dolphins! We will be on Winter Break from Monday, December 23rd to Monday, January 6, 2025. Tuesday, January 7th is a Professional Development, there will be no school for students. School resumes on Wednesday, January 8th. The office is closed on Christmas Day, 12/25 and New Years Day 1/1. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Join us on December 10th to learn more about our student achievement data, how the school will address academic learning and instruction and a parent/student STEM activity with Elemental Minds! Families who signed up by November 15th will receive a free dinner. Dinner tickets were distributed on Monday, December 9th to the oldest/only child. Kenneth’s Photography will be on campus for Fall Portrait Retakes on Wednesday 12/4. To retake, students must bring the original picture packet and the $5 retake fee. SLES uniforms are not required for picture taking. Attire must comply with the student dress code in the Student and Parent Handbook pg. 37-38. READ FULL STORY for more information!

There will be no school for students on Thursday & Friday, November 28-29, 2024 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The school office will be closed.

Grade 6 is hosing a Panda Express Community Fundraiser on Friday, December 6th to help with the 6th Grade Graduation Celebration expenses. To support our 6th Graders, order online and enter the code 928036 in the Fundraiser Code box during checkout at www.pandaexpress.com or via the App.

Grade 6 is hosting a McTeacher's Night on Thursday, November 21st from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Salt Lake Shopping Center McDonalds on 848 Ala Lilikoi Street. A portion of ALL SALES will be donated to Salt Lake Elementary to help with the cost of the 6th Grade Promotion Celebration. Stop by today to support our 6th Graders!

Thursday, November 21st is our Monthly Papa John's Fundraiser Day! To participate, order from any Papa John's island wide and turn in the receipt the next day to your child's teacher or the school office. The class with the highest sales will win a pizza party courtesy of Papa Johns! Congratulations and a high frenzy to our September AND October winner, Mrs. Teshima's Grade 4 class!

Save the date for our Diamond Bakery Cookie Fundraiser Pick up on Saturday, October 26th from 8:00-11:00 am in the Salt Lake Elementary Cafeteria. Families will need the confirmation form to pick up the cookies. Confirmation Forms were distributed on Wednesday 10/23. Thank you for supporting our Fall Fundraiser!
